The Philippine Nurses Association of Nevada (PNANV) proudly celebrates Nurses Week 2026 with a vibrant and joy‑filled theme: “Honoring the Power of Professional Nurses.”

This year’s celebration breaks away from the traditional gala format. Instead, PNANV invites nurses, families, and community partners to a night of pure fun, empowerment, and imagination—where guests arrive dressed as their favorite superheroes.

Why superheroes? Because nurses are superheroes. They are the first to respond, the last to give up, and the steady force holding patients, families, and entire healthcare systems together. Their courage in crisis, their compassion in chaos, and their unwavering commitment to healing mirror the very qualities we admire in the heroes we grew up with.

Superhero attire becomes more than a costume—it becomes a tribute to the resilience, strength, and extraordinary spirit of every nurse who continues to rise to the call of service.

This special evening also marks the 34th Annual PNANV Fundraising Event, supporting the organization’s mission‑driven programs, with a special focus on sustaining and expanding its scholarship program for future nurses. Every contribution helps PNANV uplift the next generation of Filipino and international nurses, strengthen professional development, and build a thriving, empowered nursing community in Nevada.
